As Executive Director, Karen is responsible for the success of all the organization's initiatives including farmland preservation, stewardship, education and outreach, and fundraising. She provides leadership, management, and hands-on involvement in implementing the mission, vision and goals of the organization.

Jeff Swinehart, Deputy Director
As Deputy Director, Jeff is responsible for overseeing programs and resources necessary to accomplish the mission of the Trust and achieve the goals established by the Board of Trustees. Jeff focuses on the preservation of land through the acquisition of conservation easements and the maintenance of those easements. He also supervises the land preservation staff.

Stephanie Smith, Municipal Outreach Coordinator
As Municipal Outreach Coordinator, Stephanie works with local elected officials, municipal staff, and committee members to gain greater awareness of and support for farmland preservation. Stephanie also helps municipalities establish sustainable funding sources for conservation and provides guidance for policies that support agriculture and land conservation. Jordan Tuscan, Land Preservation Specialist
As Land Preservation Specialist, Jordan is responsible for the acquisition and stewardship of conservation easements and stewardship concerning reserved rights and amendments. He also manages monitoring activities for the Trust's preserved farms and supervises monitoring volunteers.

Joella Garber, Stewardship Coordinator
As Stewardship Coordinator, Joella is responsible for managing the Trust's Smart Farms program, which offers assistance with conservation practices to owners of preserved farms. Joella also assists in writing conservation plans and helps guide farmers through the preservation process.

Kyle Guie, Land Preservation Assistant
As Land Preservation Assistant, Kyle is responsible for monitoring preserved farms, creating baseline documentation reports, working with the Geographic Information System (GIS), database management, record keeping, etc.

Karen Dickerson, Director of Communications and Marketing
As Director of Communications and Marketing, Karen is responsible for developing, coordinating, and overseeing all internal and external communications and for developing strategies that enable the Trust to accomplish its mission. She also directs fundraising events and assists with the development program.

Amanda Hickle, Development Coordinator
As Development Coordinator, Amanda provides assistance in raising funds necessary to operate the Trust and implements programs that allow the Trust to accomplish its mission. She is responsible for annual fundraising activities, including appeals, event coordination and grant proposals, etc.

Gayle McMichael, Office Manager
As Office Manager, Gayle is responsible for administrative, clerical, and financial duties which contribute to the efficient operation of the organization. She also assists with Lancaster Farmland Trust events.
