Karen Martynick, Executive Director
As Executive Director, Karen provides organizational leadership, supervises the employees, and oversees administration of the organization. She also works with farmers to preserve their farms and works to establish a relationship with every new member. kmartynick@lancasterfarmlandtrust.org
Jeff Swinehart, Deputy Director
As Deputy Director, Jeff establishes contacts with prospective landowners, explains the benefits of preservation, and manages the preservation process with interested landowners. When a landowner agrees to preserve, Jeff creates unique easements and records them at the Lancaster County courthouse. Jeff also conducts land preservation seminars for attorneys, accountants and landowners.

Amanda Yeager, Municipal Outreach Coordinator
As Municipal Outreach Coordinator, Amanda collaborates with municipal officials to promote agriculture and farmland preservation at the local level through effective agricultural zoning, agricultural advisory committees, and municipal preservation programs, including transferable development rights plans.

Darren Shenk, Stewardship Coordinator
The Stewardship Coordinator is responsible for assisting the land preservation department with managing the Smart Farms program. His primary responsibility is to work directly with owners of preserved farms to improve their soil and water conservation practices and overall environmental stewardship. Darren will work closely with producers, agricultural service providers, and a variety of public and private organizations in solidifying the Smart Farms program within the Trust and the community. In addition, he will work to help secure conservation easements and manage the Trust’s stewardship and annual monitoring activities.

Annetta Reinhart, Annual Inspection Specialist
As Annual Inspection Specialist, Annetta performs annual monitoring visits of farms preserved with conservation easements, completes Baseline Documentation Reports, and lends assistance to the Deputy Director in conducting the Trust’s preservation program. areinhart@lancasterfarmlandtrust.org
Jordan Tuscan, Land Preservation Assistant
As Land Preservation Assistant, Jordan assists the land preservation department with acquisition, maintenance, and monitoring of conservation easements. He also helps maintain databases and records relating to stewardship activities.

Karen Dickerson, Director of Communications and Marketing
As Director of Communications, Karen is responsible for overseeing publications, website design, advertising, media relations, and marketing strategies for the Trust and its business partnerships. Amanda Hickle, Development Coordinator
As Development Associate, Amanda provides assistance for events, including event sponsorship, event related correspondence, and “on-site” event assistance. She is responsible for assisting with annual fundraising, including maintaining the donor database and coordinating mailings. Amanda is also responsible for identifying foundations whose mission corresponds to the Trust, researching foundations to determine requirements of grants, and working to determine eligible and appropriate programs for funding, and writing proposals to foundations for grants.

Gayle McMichael, Office Manager
As Office Manager, Gayle handles bookkeeping, clerical, administrative, and financial duties. She also assists with Lancaster Farmland Trust events. gmcmichael@lancasterfarmlandtrust.org
Patty O’Brien, Financial Assistant
Patty is responsible for financial duties including reconciliation of bank statements, processing invoices for payment, generating invoices for goods and services rendered and grant reimbursements. Patty also maintains records of restricted funds and oversees payroll and taxes.
