Partnerships

The support of local and regional businesses is critical to the success of conservation efforts in Lancaster County. Lancaster Farmland Trust is grateful for the ongoing support of hundreds of local businesses. As major contributors and/or sponsors of Trust events, area businesses have shown that they are committed to preserving the rich, valuable soils of Lancaster County and agriculture as a way of life.

In recent years the Trust has formed two major partnerships with local businesses that have a strong stake in preserving Lancaster County’s home, harvest, and heritage. Turkey Hill Dairy and the Strasburg Rail Road have made significant commitments to preserving the very character of our community and a special way of life for our children and grandchildren. Kitchen Kettle Village, a local tourist attraction, also has made a commitment to the Trust and farmland preservation.
