Turkey Hill Dairy Partners with the Trust to Preserve a Farm!
Turkey Hill Dairy is a local business that understand that farmland preservation is directly linked to the high quality of life we all enjoy in Lancaster County. Turkey Hill has been a longtime, valued supporter of the Trust and farmland preservation efforts. In addition to donating more than $500,000 over the years, Turkey Hill frequently contributes ice cream and drinks to Trust community events, ensuring everyone can enjoy a “taste of Lancaster County.”
To celebrate their 85th anniversary and their new Haymakers drinks, Turkey Hill has created their “Preserve a Farm” program. Turkey Hill will match each donation made by fans on their website and the proceeds will preserve a 63- acre Amish farm in East Lampeter Township. The goal is to raise $85,000 with Turkey Hill donating half of that total with matching donations from their fans.
Lancaster Farmland Trust is grateful to Turkey Hill for creating this special community initiative to protect our treasured farmland and way of life in Lancaster County.
Please visit Turkey Hill and consider donating to this important fundraiser. Your support makes a difference for all Lancaster County residents!
Lancaster Farmland Trust is proud to be the beneficiary partner in 2016 for the Turkey Hill Country Classic. This fun event for families and the community includes exciting cycling races, 5K and 10K runs, a baby derby, kids games and rides, music, entertainment, and plenty of delicious Turkey Hill Dairy ice cream and drinks!
Come out and join us for an exciting, fun day and support farmland preservation.
